Creating a WebDAV connection in Windows XP and VISTA
Step-by-Step Instructions:

To edit a file, open the program in which you created the
file. However, instead of clicking on My Documents to open the specific document,
click on My Network Places and then on the course title. You will see a list of
the files on your CE 6 site. Select the file and make your edits.
When you save the file, it will automatically save back to the CE 6 File
Manager.
Note: There is a known issue with WebDav and Vista where documents open as read only, and cannot be edited, when using Microsoft Word 2007. Until a fix is posted by Microsoft, you can do one of two things to edit your files: (1) download the file from your site to your desktop or My Docs, edit it, and re-upload it or (2) edit the original document that you have in your “my Docs” on your hard drive and re-upload. As long as you don’t change the file name, the re-loaded files will replace the files on your site.
